Registration and Activation

You are encouraged to register LFRM so that you can receive an activation code and download updates. Without activating LFRM you will receive a nag message reminding to register. Logos will continue to work normally even if you choose not to register, but you will not be able to download updates or receive support on our Support Forum.

To disable the nag message, please register at http://www.ourdatasolution.com/support/registration.html .

Registration

Registering can be done on the OurDataSolution website, http://www.ourdatasolution.com/support/registration.html. Select Register Product, then enter your Site URL, E-mail, and Order ID. It is important that you enter a Site URL as it appears in the nag message. You must be logged into the ODS Support Forum to access the registration and download pages.

If you do not have this information then you can have it resent to you by entering your e-mail address at http://www.ourdatasolution.com/support/resend.html . If you continue to have problems with registration, please contact us at registration@ourdatasolution.com - we will help you resolve any problems that you may have.

If you are not currently logged into our site via your support account, an account will be generated for you. This account is automatically activated, and you will need to use this account to access other services on the ODS website, such as downloading updates and viewing your order history. Please log into our forum at http://www.ourdatasolution.com/support/forum.html, setup your profile, and change your password.

Activation

Once you have registered LFRM you will receive an activation code that you can enter in the component parameters that will disable the nag message.

Once you have registered you will be able to download updates from the OurDataSolution website, and request support using our Support Forum.

Order History

To view previous registrations, please visit http://www.ourdatasolution.com/support/order-history.html and select View Registrations to view the current registration and activation code.

Updating a Registration

To change an activation code, simple change the value in the registration list by clicking and editing the site name in the grid. Note that this can be done only a limited number of times.

Extending a Registration

You can also use the Order History to extend your subscription for support and updates. Click on the Extend link and confirm your order information. You may select a new license type, and because you are extending a subscription, you will also receive a discount on the order.

Once the order has been completed, your subscriptions will automatically be updated and you will be able to register additional domains using the new Order ID.

FAQ

Message "working on a development box"

When you first install LFRM you may receive this message.

You appear to be working on a development box. No worries, but don't forget to regsiter and activate your installation on the OurDataSolution Website. For answers to commonly asked questions about registration and activation, please visit the LFRM Registration and Activation.

This is a nag message reminding you to register your product. It is show once after your first access LFRM but then does not reappear while you are logged into the site. The message will not appear when you move your applications to the production site.

Message about "character length"

After you register and enter the activation code, you may see this message.

The activation code should be 32 characters long, but the code that you've entered is 33 characters long.

At times the activation code is not copied correctly and may contain extra characters like spaces. Please confirm the code that you have entered is the same code that you have received when you registered.

Message about "correct activation code"

After you register and enter the activation code, you may see this message.

Please take a moment to confirm that you have the correct activation code on the OurDataSolution Website.

You may receive this message after you have changed the location of the website, and will need to obtain a new activation code for your site.
